As a housewife, I do not get many opportunities to travel. However I make sure that I persuade my husband and other family members to plan trips once in a while. Each travel gives me the pleasure of experience new things and it is true that life should not be lived in one place, otherwise our minds turn stagnant.
Leonia Resort Hyderabad- A Resort For Weaving Precious Memories!
Aarushi Singhaniya is back with another small write-up for all of you , my dear readers! It is your appreciation which motivates me to write blogs and share my experiences. It has been quite a while that my family has been living in Hyderabad, and I love being here. The moderate climate, mixed community gathering, warm people, and cordial culture are few things I love about this city.
I, my husband and my two kids love the city and have been to various places such as Nehru Zoological Park, Birla Mandir, Salar Jung Museum, Hussain Sagar, Golkonda, Charminar and many more. However, all these were just one day trips and my kids and I wanted to spend our weekend at a special place. My husband was generous and booked our weekend at Hyderabad’s lavish destination- Leonia Resort Hyderabad.
Leonia Resort Hyderabad: Luxury in the Pearl City!
It is one of the luxury resorts of the Pearl City and all of us were excited to spend our weekend here. Our day began with a long drive to the resort as it is located at the city outskirts. The hotel offered rooms of different styles such as executive suite, Leo biz classic, bay window rooms, lagoon bay and lots more. My husband chose Cascade Suite for all four of us.
The hotel was quite big and my kids started enjoying their holiday as we reached. The design of the entire place was done in a modern style, and every corner of the restaurant was beautiful.
My kids were hungry, so just after refreshing ourselves we went to Leo Dine, an in-house restaurant of the resort. The restaurant had many top chefs from the country and we were served some European delicacies on the first day. I thanked my husband for a great start to the weekend.
The resort is mainly popular for its entertainment options for the visitors. There are lots of big events held here, and we enjoyed our evening watching the high profile shows. The Leonia Resort Hyderabad even offers amusement activities, and we planned our next two days for it. If you are in Hyderabad for a vacation, do spend at least one day at the resort and I promise you will have a great time.

Republic Day Wishes
Today one of the reasons why everyone enjoys an equal status is due to the democratic constitution of India. On January 26th of 1950, set of rules and regulations were made that ensured that the nation would have a chance to grow culturally and economically in such a way that each man enjoyed freedom.
What A Memorable Experience With My Kids At Adventure n Coorg!
Coorg is one of the beautiful locations situated in Western Ghats of Karnataka. I, Aarushi Singhaniya, a nature lover who loves to travel anywhere is here with some charming reminiscences! Being attached so closely with my children, I do not wish to leave them at home, when I am enjoying out somewhere in the woods or any destination for that matter. My kids are my life, and I cannot spend any happy moments without them. Here I am to share my recent trip in Coorg where I have been to with my kids – time of adventure indeed.
Well, it was a sudden plan made by my husband and his friends. Initially it was a family trip, later it turned out to be an adventurous one. Coorg was a heaven for me! I actually was bored of Hyderabad, and wanted to discover natural paradise. The first day spent at Coorg was lovely; I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing amidst the cool lush greenery. However, we planned our next few days for adventure to educate our kids and make them enjoy something thrilling.
Camping and trekking- best experience!
Trekking, camping and wildlife were on our things to do in Coorg list. I was keen of the safety, as there were five kids with us (two mine, and three friend’s). We started with trekking; there are many places in Coorg which are ideal for trekking.
We chose one day trekking as we had children with us. While we were browsing for trekking, we found many options. One was trekking in South Coorg, which charged only 3000 INR and took us for a long walk in the green valleys. Other was a trek to highest peak in Kakkabbe, and it charged 11000 INR which was expensive for us keeping in mind the kid’s factor.
Our next goal was camping. We came across two options which charged 1500 and 1750 INR respectively. We chose the second one which was at Srimangala. It was a complete one day and one night camping which included meals, camping, bonfire, and few sports. My kids enjoyed the new experience.
Close to wildlife
Lastly, we fixed our day for wildlife safari. It was in Rajiv Gandhi National Park, what a marvellous place! All of us had a great time amidst the jungle area with different species of animals and birds all around. I would never forget my trip in Coorg, getting close to nature was a great decision. I recommend all my fellow readers to experience these things when in Coorg. Do share your experiences too!
Travel Quote of the Week
We have only one life to live and most of us are sucked into our routines from the time we mature. As a housewife I tend to fall into the routine life more than others. However this quote made me realize that traveling and experiencing new things is an essential part of growing.
Favorite Dessert of Karnataka – Mysore Pak
Mysore Pak is one of my favorite desserts from Karnataka. There are two types, a dry version which is like cookie crumble and a softer version made from ghee. People also make it using carrots as the base ingredient; however it is not sold very commonly and is delicious all the same.
Wish you a very Happy New Year
The adventurous and motivating year of 2015 has come to an end and let us all welcome the new year 2016 with open arms. I pray that the new year brings color to your life and all your wish and desires gets fulfilled. I also hope that I can squeeze time out from my schedule to explore destination in the new year too.
Merry Christmas
The best thing I like about Christmas is the carols sung by the little kids in the churches and schools. The beautiful songs are sung with so much spirit that they warm even the most depressed souls and spread joy. The Santa’s in the stores are also a lovely sight to see and kids love them.
