Akki Rotti karnataka – The Akki Rotti from Karnataka is a dish which is made from rice flour. Ingredients like shaved carrot, parsley, cumin seeds, coconut and sesame are added for flavor. It is eaten with pickle or can be had on its own. It is subtle in flavor and the spice comes from the ground chilli added to the dough.

Mysore Pak is one of my favorite desserts from Karnataka. There are two types, a dry version which is like cookie crumble and a softer version made from ghee. People also make it using carrots as the base ingredient; however it is not sold very commonly and is delicious all the same.
Description – My husband and I have heard so much about the local dish of Karnataka called the Bisi Bele Bath. Roughly translated, it means hot lentil rice and I was excited to try it. We went to one do the small eateries in Indiranagar and ordered for it. It was served with a dollop of ghee and was amazing and silky in the mouth.
