Hotel Kalinga Ashok : Maintaining a Traditional Charm

29 Apr

As we arrived at the Bhubaneswar railway station, we headed towards the hotel that I had booked for our stay. I am quite a rational person and hence I made our reservations in Hotel Kalinga Ashok which is located at the Kalpana Square in the Gautam Nagar area of Bhubaneswar.

It was very convenient and time saving for me to reserve ourselves a slot at the hotel using the hotel reservation app.  I compared all the hotel prices and services and there after booked rooms in the hotel Kalinga Ashok, just on the click of a few buttons via the very user friendly interface provided by hotel reservation app on my smart phone.

The hotel Kalinga Ashok is a modular hotel and is very easily accessible from all parts of the city. It is located just at a distance of 4 kilometers from the airport and 1 kilometer from the railway station. It too merely ten minutes to reach our abode in Bhubaneswar. As we checked in the hotel we were greeted by the extremely courteous staff and we were directed towards our room by an attendant.

Our room was quite spacious and well furnished. It was clean and tidy and I liked the accommodation at first site. The hotel provides free breakfast services which was again a lot of convenience to us. As we reached early in the morning we got fresh and then had the breakfast which was pretty decent. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi access for customers. The staff is very professional and welcoming and looked after all our necessities with utmost care.

Although it’s a mid range hotel but I was completely satisfied by the services offered by it. I must say it is value for money. The hotel is well located near to a couple of eminent temples of Bhubaneswar and there is a railway track somewhere nearby. My both kids were having a merry time listening to the sound of the rail engines whistling as they passed by the railway tracks. After taking a short nap in the afternoon we were all set to explore the city of Bhubaneswar.
