Before going to Bhopal, I had the hotel booked for our stay at the city, which was Hotel Rajhans Regent Bhopal. It is a three-star hotel located in the heart of the city, providing a luxurious stay to the customers. It is close to some of the important tourist destinations in the city like Bharat Bhavan, Lower Lake, Taj-ul-Masjid, Upper Lake and Van Vihar National Park. Raja Bhoj airport is about 18.5 km from the hotel, while the bus stand is 6.5 km from here. There was the cab sent from the hotel waiting to take us to the hotel. The hotel was quite close to the railway station and we reached the hotel within minutes.
The room we had booked was neat, well-maintained and provided with all facilities like air-conditioners, tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, telephone, LCD TV with cable connection, internet and an attached bathroom with all facilities. There was 24 hour room service also for the convenience of the guests. After getting refreshed we had a cup of tea and my kids had some snacks and fruit juice.
The hotel had 3 floors and 27 rooms, which were classified in to Super Deluxe, Deluxe Room, Studio and Premium Executive Rooms. There is also a conference room in the hotel well equipped with latest technology. The multi cuisine restaurant in the hotel serves you delicious mouth watering dishes, including Indian, Chinese and Continental delicacies. There is also a coffee shop in the hotel serving you coffee, beverages, snacks and meals. For those who are health conscious, there was a gym at the hotel with all modern equipments.
The travel desk in the hotel offered all assistance to us and provided us with information on various tourist sites in and near the city and how to visit them. They arranged cabs for our travel too.
Other facilities in the hotel include laundry and dry washing facilities, doctor on call, parking facility, security and so on. The staff at Hotel Rajhans Regent Bhopal is polite, courteous and always ready to help the guests. We had a wonderful time at the hotel and I will recommend it to anyone who visits Bhopal.
