I went through some of the books there and also watched one of the stage shows being held. Chhavi is the place where classical cinema is shown. Anhad is a hall which is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Here a number of classical music as well as folk music are performed. Many noted musicians have performed in this hall in front of a large audience.

Bharat Bhavan is open from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm on all days of the week, except for Sundays. It is one of the important centers in India that is known for the conservation of traditional and folk art. We spent a couple of hours at Bharat Bhavan, visiting different museums and workshops and learnt quite a lot about the art and literature of Madhya Pradesh.
